Web-service for adding BOM Alternates

Hi,

I have SAP ME version 6.0.4.

Sometimes in production during assembly there is a need to add alternative items for a BOM position.

With SAP ME GUI Activity "BOM Maintenance" this is possible even though the BOM is in use.

Now I am searching for a web-service where this adding of BOM alternative items is possible.

I have tried both BOMChangeRequest and BOMUpdateRequest, but get the error "BOM is in use; cannot make changes"

Anyone know of a Web-service I can use for this?
